About Ken Wood & Sons

Ken Wood and Sons Construction is a family run business founded by the late Ken Wood and has been established since May 1991; and is owned and run by Philip Wood and Roy Wood, with Daniel Howitt (Director) managing and developing the company on a day to day basis.

We have become a leading competitor in the construction industry, especially within the Gainsborough area; starting out from a small portacabin the company grew quickly, resulting in the need to build a central office/depot from where all our operations and works could be co-ordinated, so in 2002 we constructed a development of 4 industrial units, keeping one for our new base.

Our growth has resulted in an increase of workforce, turnover, regular business clientele and respect within the industry, where we were ultimately rewarded with the West Lindsey District Council's Built in Quality Award Winners and are also members of Constructionline, Contractors Health & safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), NHBC, the Guild of Master Craftsmen and the Federation of Small Businesses.

Ken Wood and Sons are a Limited company offering services that include design and build packages, new build developments and refurbishment and maintenance works to various schools, residential properties and commercial, retail and industrial businesses within the Lincolnshire, Humberside, Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire area.

Our aim is to continue working closely with the local community and businesses in the West Lindsey area, but to expand and seek new business opportunities within a 150-mile radius of our office, offering a competitive service within the region.

Ultimately our main activity and mission statement is 'To provide a first class quality service at a competitive price.'
